As an author, he most recently revealed the untold story behind the animated 80’s classic The Real Ghostbusters: A Visual History, and helped new parents face end of the world parenting challenges with Marvel’s Great Responsibility: Raising Your Little Hero From Toddler to Teen. He’s also penned numerous behind the scenes, technical manuals, and guidebooks for Marvel, Dark Horse Comics, Insight Editions, Quarto, Titan, and more. He is also a contributing author to the official websites for Disney, Star Wars, Warner Bros., MGM, COMET, and CHARGE.

Troy also acts as a freelance consultant with Jason Reitman’s Ghostbusters-centric production company Ghost Corps. Through his work, he’s fulfilled a childhood-dream documenting the creation of new Proton Packs, Ectomobiles, and Terror Dogs for the new films Ghostbusters: Afterlife, assisted the heads of department in creating research and reference worldbuilding material for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and more.

Troy currently works as a Production Manager at Create Advertising. Previously, Troy acted as a full-time videographer for the Star Trek brand, shooting and editing digital content for StarTrek.com. He also had the honor of being a stills photographer for the official Star Trek Archives. Prior to that, Troy worked for a decade in EPK, marketing, and DVD behind the scenes content on projects for Marvel, Disney, Lucasfilm, Universal, Fox, Paramount, Sony and Warner Bros. on properties including Star Wars, Transformers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Alien, Gravity, Halo, Peanuts, The X-Files, Deadpool, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and many more.

As a producer, he co-produced and acted as Post Production Supervisor on documentaries which debuted at Sundance and the Toronto Film Festivals including, Studio 54, Scotty and the Secret History of Hollywood, Citizen Jane, and Cleanin’ Up the Town: Remembering Ghostbusters. He was also a part of the Disney+ launch team in 2019. As a studio Production Manager, he oversaw unscripted shows including Earth to Ned, Becoming, Amongst the Stars, Behind the Attraction, and A Celebration of the Music from Coco.

When he’s not working, Troy plays hockey, skis, and spends as much time as possible with his two amazing kids, who tell wilder stories than he does.
